I got this e-mail at work. I don't know how true it is, but I figure I would post it anyway.

JUST A REMINDER: 19 days from today, all cell phone numbers are being released to telemarketing companies. You will start to receive sale calls and you will be charged for these calls. To prevent this, call the following number from your cell phone: 888-382-1222. It is the National DO NOT CALL LIST. It will only take a minute of your time. It blocks your number for five years.

Hmm. Thanks for the heads-up. Whether it's actually true or not, I did register at that website...it's .gov, so I would think it's pretty reliable. Don't know if the cell phone thing is true, but...might as well.

According to snopes.com, it's fake. Don't think anything horrible will happen if you registered, but thought you might like to know.

Thanks for the link. I know I'll be okay no matter what because I don't have a cell phone! :o)
