I mentioned a month ago that I was going to try to lose some weight. I have a notebook that I have been using to keep track of how many calories I eat versus how many I burn. According to my notes, I should have lost almost 6 and 3/4 pounds (about 3.05 kg). According to my bathroom scale, I've lost 5 pounds. I weigh myself every Sunday night and I lost those 5 pounds in the first two weeks. I've stayed at the same weight since August 13. Apparently, staying at the same weight for a time despite diet and exercise is called "weight loss plateau". I'm relieved to learn that because I was beginning to become quite frustrated. Hopefully I'll start losing again in the near future. I'd like to buy a new dress for my cousin's wedding on November 11.

P.S. Ick, I have to go all the way to work in all of this pouring rain. Wish me luck!
