Lastly, as an American, I also apologize for all of the hateful Pearl Harbor remarks that some of my fellow Americans have posted on Facebook, Twitter and other places. As a New Yorker I know what such devastation and loss can be like but I know what strength and outpouring of support can come from it. For every those negative, boorish post made behind anonymous computer screens there's ten positive, helpful actions and donations being done to help.
