What have I done??

I was washing my hair tonight and the next thing I knew, I had a pair of scissors in my hand and my hair was about half an inch long! (As opposed to it's former shoulder-length -- whenever I straightened it.) I haven't told anyone what I've done and I wish I could just hide in my house until it grows a couple of inches. I have 8 hours to figure out what to do with my head other than put a paper bag over it. I suppose I can swing by Walgreen's tomorrow morning and buy a nice headband. And then tomorrow evening I'll go to the hair salon or barber or someone. I used three mirrors, but I don't think my hair is quite even.

Ugggggh...now I look like a chubby 10-year-old boy. What was I thinking?

well! i really have no advice. maybe wear one of those head scarves that are luckily quite fashionable at the moment.

i hope it grows out at least a little bit very soon.

does it really look that bad? i'm sure you could rock the cut.

Thanks for the encouragement. I did get a headband this morning, and after work I went to Hair Cuttery to have my hair evened up. It actually looks okay now, it's a TWA (teeny weeny Afro), but I still look kind of like a boy. My hair grows fairly fast so I'll probably look better by the time it is cold.
