Hurricane Rita
Sep. 22nd, 2005 11:49 pmRita is headed toward my birthplace of Houston, Texas. I pray for my family who lives there, the residents, and the NOLA evacuees who are now double evacuees. I see that it is the same thing as with Katrina -- the poor and weak are still too poor and weak to evacuate so their lives are now in the balance. I don't know what to do except hope.
I leave out of town tomorrow, so I won't be back until late Saturday or Sunday.

All the best. Make sure you let us know when you're back and whether your family is safe.
